Why karaoke for a corporate event?
Most team outings are either too competitive (escape room, sports day) or too passive (canal tour, sit-down dinner). Karaoke sits in between: anyone can join in, no athletic or trivia skills required, and it works as an icebreaker without feeling forced.
In a private room you're only with your own team — no strangers, no previous embarrassing performances to compete with. The microphones get passed around, after two songs someone drops their guard, and the rest of the night takes care of itself. Works especially well for international teams: our catalogue has Dutch hits alongside English, Spanish, Korean and Hindi songs.

Combine with dinner or drinks
Most corporate outings pair Sing Sing with another part of the programme. What works well:
Dinner first
18:00-22:00: dinner at one of the Rembrandtplein restaurants, then a session in a private room.
Stretch the drinks
17:00-21:00: wrap up a Friday afternoon with a private session — before 20:00 it's all ages, so interns and younger colleagues can join.
Full night
20:00-04:00: 2 back-to-back sessions, a break at the bar, optionally staying until closing.
We don't serve full meals (just snacks), but Rembrandtplein is full of restaurants — we're happy to recommend one.
Practical & business info
- Price: €10 p.p. minimum spend + room fee from €10 p.p. (varies by room and time slot). Anything you order beyond that is settled afterwards.
- Agreed drinks budget: rather avoid a surprise on the bill? Agree a maximum drinks amount for the group up front; once it is reached, everyone orders for their own account. Ask us through our contact form.
- Invoice on company name: select "Business" at booking and fill in company name, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number (optional) and invoice address. You'll automatically receive an invoice with VAT specified.
- Booking: online via singsing.nl for groups up to 25. For larger groups or venue hire: use our contact form.
- Weekday evenings: available — rooms open Mon-Thu and Sun from 20:00 to 04:00. Earlier slots are usually easier to book midweek. Other times (earlier start, daytime event) are available on request via our contact form.
- Cancel / reschedule: free up to 72h before, 1× free reschedule up to 24h before.
- Food & drinks: drinks and snacks via the karaoke screen in your room or at the bar. Own catering is not allowed in a private room — for a full or partial venue hire you can ask about the options via our contact form.
Does karaoke work for our team?
Even when 30% of your team says "I never sing": twenty minutes in, the quiet colleague turns out to know every word of Whitney Houston. Nobody is pushed — and anyone who really would rather not sing orders the drinks, picks the songs, films the rest. That counts too.
What it is not: a corporate team-building session with a facilitator. No feedback rounds, no ice-breaker games. Just an evening together, with the music on and the work role off.

A cocktail workshop is a fun team activity as a warm-up for the karaoke. Everyone shakes their own cocktails with a host — no experience needed, everything explained from the start. Choose 1 hour (2 cocktails p.p.) or 1.5 hours (3 cocktails p.p.), with an alcohol-free option for those who prefer. Perfect for breaking the ice before the team heads into the private room. Very much so. Our 20,000+ song catalogue has plenty of non-English and non-Dutch hits — Spanish, Italian, Korean, Hindi, French, German and more. The screen shows lyrics in the original language so everyone can join in, including colleagues who don't speak Dutch or English.
That depends on the room, the time slot and what you drink. What is fixed: a €10 p.p. minimum spend plus the room fee from €10 p.p. — both shown when you book, before you pay. Anything the group orders beyond that is settled afterwards. Want a ceiling up front? Agree a maximum drinks amount with us.
Yes. From around 50+ people, or if you want a private event with no other guests, you can hire a larger space — depending on your group size that's multiple rooms with their own bar area, a large hall inside Sing Sing, or the full venue (capacity up to ~300 people). We discuss together what fits, plus drinks package and any exclusivity. Leave your date, group size and requirements via our contact form.
For 6-15 people on a weekday, 1-2 weeks ahead is usually fine. For groups of 15+ or weekend slots, plan 3-4 weeks. December (Christmas drinks) and May/June (end-of-year outings) fill up fast — book as early as possible.
No problem. No one is forced. In a private room you can order drinks, follow the lyrics, control the screen, or just dance along. Usually the "I never sing" crowd ends up joining in on a group song at the end (Bohemian Rhapsody, Mr. Brightside, that kind of thing).
For larger events (25+ people or a custom hire) yes — use our contact form to arrange a midweek visit. For regular group bookings we provide photos and info per room on the website.
Works well as a closer. Our rooms run from 20:00 on weekdays (also bookable before 20:00 for all ages), so after a 9:00-17:00 day programme + dinner you can start karaoke around 20:00-21:00. Tip: end your daytime programme within walking distance — Sing Sing is central.
